Sometimes it's a good idea to look back. I was interested in seeing where our industry was 5 years ago on the topic of mist collection. This was a time when the topic was really hot, and just ahead of the newest regulations in Southern California. I located this article from Cutting Tool Engineering related to the Donaldson products. I personally have installed two Donaldson systems myself.

E-300 from Extract All is designed for direct source capture of various airborne contaminants from Metalworking Fluids. It is one of the possible methods of cleaning unwanted nuisance or hazardous contaminants from the workplace efficiently and cost-effectively. The E-300 is more effective when accommodating a single machine or enclosure. The equipment it looks very simple (multi-stage mechanical filtration) but the video describes it in detail.
