ASTM has issued a new work item, WK32827, to revise ASTM E2144 - Standard Practice for Personal Sampling and Analysis of Endotoxin in Metalworking Fluid Aerosols in Workplace Atmospheres. The purpose is to
harmonize the definition of the term 'endotoxin' in the various ASTM standards in which it appears. In addition, the standard will be revised to reflect the current understanding of endotoxin.
